  18. okay, i dont know a whole lot about kermit at all. At my school, they run
  19. vax/vms and it has ckermit.  I wrote a .ini file to run while entering
  20. ckermit to make it supposedly run better, but its still really slow.  
  21. ive got set file type image
  22. set packet length 80 i think
  23. something about recieve packet lenght and the set bytesize 8
  24.  
  25. what sort of configuration would give me the most efficent downloading?
  26. any help would be great. thanks. if you oculd email me that  would be great!

  36. Sorry to rain on the parade, but I'm getting a little sick of your 
  37. self-absorbed postings.  Is there a problem here?  I know all about sz 
  38. (and ZMODEM), etc., but what I need is a reliable telnet (or telecom) 
  39. access to a file server, with an easy way to get the file server data 
  40. back to my machine.  Kermit 3.14 does that for me and more!  Why are you 
  41. so engrossed with nano-second differences between Kermit and ZMODEM; 
  42. don't you see that they're both useful additions to the General 
  43. Let's-Get-It of Life?
